Cultivation Advice
Phlox subulata does best in sun or light shade with average or dry well drained soil. Plants tolerate most soil types except very wet ground.

 

To cover a large area plant at about 75cm spacings.

 

Eventually the plant will form a dense groundcover and suppress nearly all weeds. To get it established weed control is required or use a surface mulch like pebbles, wood chip, or bark chip.
