Star Jasmine. Evergreen, woody stemmed, twinning climber with oval leaves up to 10cm long. Very fragrant white flowers are carried in summer. To 9m. Can be used as a groundcover.

 

Cultivation Advice
Star Jasmine forms a natural groundcover as the long branches are pulled down under their own weight. To fill a larger area plant at about 75cm spacings. Weed control is easiest by using a mulch such as bark or wood chip.


Star Jasmine can also be used as a climber but needs encourage to get started by manually winding around wire supports or trellising.
